  The Bookworm is the best bookstore in Ventura County! Mrs. Halpern and her staff are extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. On the rare occasion that they don't have what you are looking for, they'll order it for next day delivery. Local author book signings and book readings for children are icing on the cake.

  A very warm and inviting store. While it is small, it has a very wide variety of books. The owner and the staff are very friendly and will even order books by your request. Prices are also competitive.
